This is a Box style station of the Teague design. The office is at an angle which provides visibility in a cross-street situation. The station was originally on the corner of 2nd Street and Warren Ave. The station dates from the 20's and is in its third location on that corner. It is being restored to the original color scheme and is being submitted as an NRHP property. The station's Texaco sign, on tall poles, still looms over the neighborhood.
