An Evansville surgion, Dr. Woods filed Articles of Incorporation with the Indiana Secretary of State on Oct. 25, 1916 for the International Association of Lions Clubs. As Founder, Dr. Woods was elected International President at the first Lions International Convention in Dallas, TX in Oct. 1917. Lions celebrated their Centennial in 2017.
