The carved collection plate of St. Olave's church in North Ramsey.
This unusual collection plate features a carving of a Viking Longship with full sail at sea. This carving resembles the Viking Longship that appeared on the ancient flag of the Isle of Man and still appears on the Flag of Tynwald, the Isle of Man's Parliament.

Around the rim of the plate are carved the following words:
"GOD LOVETH A CHEERFUL GIVER"
This is a quote from 2 Corinthians 9:7 in the King James Version of the Bible.
The full verse is as follows:
"Every man according as he
purposeth in his heart, so let him give;
not grudgingly, or of necessity: for
God loveth a cheerful giver."
