This Field of Honour is located within the broader confines in Southwest Calgary Canada.
Surrounding this Field of Honor are the beautifully kept-grounds of the rest of Burnsland Cemetery, where you can spot a with a variety of tombstones. When suddenly the tombstones are a arranged in long perfect lines and 90° angle to the rest of the plots. Tombstones are all the same size, and a somber battlefield cenotaph stands in the center. This is how you know you have arrived in the Field of Honour.

"Burnsland Cemetery
Burnsland Cemetery is located just off Spiller Road in Calgary’s southeast and dates back to 1923. The cemetery features a military field of honour, where many of Calgary’s First World War veterans are buried, as well as in-ground and cremation burial plots.

Space availability: The in-ground burial plots at Burnsland Cemetery are at capacity; however, space becomes available from time-to-time. Please call 403-221-3660 for possible availability.
