The sign for the Miles Buisson Park has a bronze plaque embedded in a quartz covered angled plinth below it. The inscription reads:
MILES BUISSON PARK
This Park is Dedicated in Memory of Miles Buisson. A
young surfer who regularly came to this location.
Miles was tragically killed at the age of 18 years,
on the Gold Coast on 7th January, 1990 and he is
fondly remembered by his friends and family.
This Park is Dedicated to his Memory by Alderman
Kerry Smith.
