[FR] L'actuelle église paroissiale Saint-Alpinien a été construite par Henry Dauvergne, architecte départemental, et Antoine Métivier, entrepreneur à Argenton-sur-Creuse ; les plans sont datés de mai 1899, les travaux débutent en 1903, l'église est inaugurée le 9 avril 1905 ; noter les clés de voûte avec les initiales HL (Hornbostel Laurier) et les armes des familles d'Oiron et de Dreuille.

[EN] The current Saint-Alpinien parish church was built by Henry Dauvergne, departmental architect, and Antoine Métivier, contractor from Argenton-sur-Creuse; the plans are dated May 1899, work began in 1903, and the church was inaugurated on April 9, 1905; note the keystones with the initials HL (Hornbostel Laurier) and the arms of the d'Oiron and de Dreuille families.
