As one might imagine, Hot Springs is know for its many hot springs. This "Hot Springs Filling Station" is just north of the Visitors Center and taps directly into a subterranean hot spring. Several spigots so that anyone can fill their water jugs. The water is very hot as it emerges from the spring; the station cools it to 90-100 degrees Fahrenheit so you won't scald yourself. The water is rich in minerals and, once cool, is excellent for drinking. An information panel nearby gives the mineral content of the water and other details.
