The NGS recovery note from 2020 in the datasheet provides a very accurate description for how to reach this benchmark per my finding of it in 2023. This is the first example of this style of benchmark that I have found; from what I have researched, this particular type of disk is typically associated with tidal benchmarks. The benchmark is set in the top of a square concrete post that projects about 6 inches above the ground.
