ES: "Tan sólo seis kilómetros conforman los llamados Sotos de la Albolafia. El material de arrastre que el río deposita en este tramo, ha configurado un paisaje de lo más peculiar, donde gran variedad de aves y plantas han encontrado su lugar perfecto.
Tanto es así, que el dos de octubre de 2001, fue declarado Monumento Natural, creando, de esta forma, en medio de la ciudad, una verdadera reserva de flora y fauna."
EN: "The Albolafia woodlands occupy approximately 6 square kilometres, and were formed by the build-up of silt and other debris deposited by the river. The result is an unusual natural area of rushes and woodland, where a surprisingly wide variety of birds and plants have found an ideal habitat. On 2nd October 2001, this area was declared a Protected Natural Area, thus creating, right in the centre of the city, a conservation area for the local flora and fauna."
