The Ogdensburg Armory was built in 1898, using red Potsdam sandstone built on a limestone base.
It was originally home to the Fortieth Separate Company of the National Guard of New York. Most recently, it was home to Det 2 Co B 2Bn 108 Infantry. However, that unit left in June, 2022 as the National Guard continued in its program to consolidate smaller units.
The armory currently sits vacant. It was placed on the US Register of Historic Places in 1995.
