Anderson is from a multigenerational fishing family, and an experienced deckhand. Local Ocean's new owner - the Local Ocean Stewardship Trust - ensures that the company will forever continue to source direct from local fishermen and showcase local species. It requires that they uphold our standards of service and culinary excellence. And it keeps them focused on the big picture by requiring that they continually strive for sustainable business practices and advocate for Oregon's fisheries.
