Try to find a path that gets the car as close to the back portion of the property from the main church buildings and as far down the hillside in the back as you can. Otherwise, you can park on the high ground and follow the directional pointer on your handheld GPS system you as you wend your way walking downhill, across the grass and onto the correct path leading to the labyrinth in the woods. It actually is a fun experience to park uphill and follow the visual clues and the GPS to solve how to arrive at the labyrinth.

This labyrinth is a rustic 11 circuit classical labyrinth that turns and folds its path through the four quarters of the circular path. The labyrinth's pathway forms a 42 foot wide diameter. The path is native dirt, rock and grass edged bynative limestone rock that shares space with various grasses. Most of the labyrinth is bounded by a grove of cedar trees, with an opening in the trees to allow people to see where the labyrinth is located while walking past the grass lane that leads to it. There is a paved roadway that passes by the entrance to natural trail leading to the labyrinth, but you'd have to be alert to see this trailhead. The entrance to the trail is about 120 feet from the labyrinth and is on a bend in the paved road that passes by it.

The pathway follows a standard pattern but the width of the path does vary from rather narrow to amply wide enough to walk safely. Pay attention to the pathway width as you walk. Also, this should be walked only in daytime since it is in a remote area and no electrical lights were anywhere nearby for illumination. It would be easy to trip and fall in the late evening or during the night or in early morning hours.

The pathway to the labyrinth's center is designed to complement the concept that walking a labyrinth allows you to meditate and release your tensions and worries on the way in. At the center, you can leave those frustrations there and can return on the same path back with a more relaxed attitude of hope and contentment.
