This cornerstone is actually an orphaned cornerstone that is at the current Naples Central School in Naples, New York. The original school here was built in 1860 as the Naples Academy. This was eventually replaced by the art deco Naples Central School in 1938, which we see today. The cornerstone was kept from the original building and placed on the north-east corner of the school.
