While the building is still intact, the signage reflects many, but not all of the uses it has served. It was originally constructed as a Texaco station and garage and filled that purpose for most of the time. It is located on the original U.S. Route 66 and would have been one of the first gas stations encountered for west bound travelers. It has also been known as Donovan's Garage and Wilkinson's Ford dealership. The former Texaco sign can still be seen even though the name has been whitewashed. It does not appear to have any current use although various bits of junk can be seen through the windows. The overhead sign is being used to advertise unrelated businesses.
