ES: "Con la idea de potenciar las comunicaciones se realizó entre 1916 y 1923 la Antigua Casa de Correos y Telégrafos, hoy sede del rectorado de la Universidad de Málaga. Debido a sus limitaciones de espacio para el fin requerido Correos cesa su actividad en este inmueble en 1986, comprándolo en 1993 la Universidad de Málaga, que lo restaura y acondiciona para su nuevo uso.
Es un edificio de planta cuadrada y estilo neo mudéjar. Las esquinas de su fachada principal son redondeadas de la que sobresale una torre también con formas curvas que acaba en un tejadillo muy singular.
Bajo este edificio han aparecido restos de la muralla fenicia de Málaga y otros elementos romanos como las piletas de Garum que se encuentran expuestas en su interior."

EN: "The Old Post Office (Antiguo Edificio de Correos) was built between 1916 and 1923 with the idea of furthering communications. It now houses the Rectory of the University of Málaga. Due to space limitations, Correos left the property in 1986, and the University of Málaga bought it in 1993. Next, the University restored it and made it suitable for its new purpose.
It is a square building in neo-Mudéjar style.The corners of the main façade are rounded with projecting towers of curved shapes that form a uniquely styled roof.
Under this building, remains of the Phoenician wall of Málaga and other elements such as Roman garum (fish paste) pools that are visible inside have been found."
