Victoria is, in Roman mythology, the goddess who personified triumph. She is the daughter of Estigia and sister of Potestas, Vis and Invidia.
Its temples stand out in the Palatine and the Capitol of Rome where the statues that the winners consecrated to them are still preserved. Augustus had an altar raised in his honor in the Senate to commemorate the battle of Actium.
She was represented as a winged woman, usually in the attitude of attaching a laurel wreath to the victors and Caesars. It is identified with the Greek goddess Nike.
On this occasion, two chariots are represented, Unity and Freedom, guided by the goddess Victoria.
