The bridge sets on eight fourty foot square towers and includes five 100-foot intermediate spans, one 50-foot and one 60-foot span at north end, and two 60-foot spans at south end. The bridge has a total length of 1,050 feet and is 275 feet high. The bridge was constructed in 1911 and took six months to complete.
