Starting near the shoreline from either the Storm King Ranger Station or Lake Crescent Lodge, you will quickly become immersed in the old-growth, moss-laden forest that surrounds Lake Crescent. The trail is very well maintained and relatively flat until reaching a set of nature stairs to the Marymere Falls viewpoints along the “Falls Loop” where you will gain about 200 feet. The nature stairs begin shortly after two scenic bridge crossings over Barnes Creek and Falls Creek and continues on a clockwise direction, turning left at the junction. Both the lower and upper viewpoints of Marymere Falls are very picturesque!
