Covenant United Methodist Church is located at 4410 Duval Road, Austin, TX 78727. It is at the center of Duval Road and Whispering Valley Drive.

To find the labyrinth, turn onto Whispering Valley Drive and enter the church parking lot from Whispering Valley Drive. Then, turn right once in the parking lot and drive to the back edge of the parking area and park your car. Facing toward the open, walk to your left, toward a small clump of oak trees near a very tall telephone relay tower. You should be able to see the labyrinth from the parking lot. There is a small wooden arch across the gravel path that leads to the beginning of the labyrinth's pathway.

This labyrinth is about 42 feet feet wide and is designed as a classic Chartres Cathedral pattern that walks you through all four quarters of the path before entering the center. The path into and out of this labyrinth is a sandy gravel mixture for the pathway and is edged with white rectangular stone. In the center, there is a large triangular stone. large enough to sit and rest upon until ready to walk back out along the same pathway. The shade from the few trees around the labyrinth and the view of the open field offer a peaceful setting.

The pathway to the labyrinth's center is designed to complement the concept that walking a labyrinth allows you to meditate and release your tensions and worries on the way in. At the center, you can leave those frustrations there and can return on the same path back with a more relaxed attitude of hope and contentment.
