At the back of the Columbus restaurant in Scheveningen I found this great red telephone box

NL Mijn dochter was jarig dus we hebben een leuk bezoek aan Scheveningen gebracht. We zijn even voor de lunch neergestreken bij Columbus. Heel lekker gegeten en een mooi restaurant. Achterin zag ik ook een typische Engelse rode telefooncel staan. Toen we de ober vertelden dat het de verjaardag van mijn dochter was, heeft hij heel lief een gratis ijsje aangeboden in een pinguin-beker, die we ook mochten meenemen. Dat werd vergezeld door het nummer ‘Gefeliciteerd’ van Bassie en Adriaan. Deze actie konden we echt waarderen en we hebben er weer een mooie herinnering bij.

ENG It was my daughter's birthday so we had a nice visit to Scheveningen. We settled down at Columbus just before lunch. Very good food and a nice restaurant. In the back I also saw a typical English red telephone box. When we told the waiter that it was my daughter's birthday, he very sweetly offered a free ice cream in a penguin cup, which we could also take with us. That was accompanied by the song 'Gefeliciteerd' (congratulations) by Bassie and Adriaan. We really appreciated this action and we have another nice memory.
