The labyrinth at the Dripping Springs Untied Methodist Church is walled off with trellises covered in vines but with large openings at each corner of its enclosure. These vines trellises offer some privacy for praying and walking the labyrinth. The parking lot is immediately beyond the labyrinth, so it is convenient to drive right to it.

The labyrinth is made a large concrete slab that must have been tinted with a yellowish-orange tint years ago, but is now in need of refreshing. The outline of the classic Chartres-styled labyrinth has been cut into the concrete to define the edges of the pathway. The areas where the path turns, the triangular areas between the turns have been cut out slightly to show contrast between the smooth pathway and the curved turn area. On sunny days, the differentiation of the narrow edge groves cut into the concrete and the pathway is easier to see than on a cloudy day or in early morning or evening time. A fresh coat of paint to the path and the edges would greatly benefit those who try to see where they are walking.

The pathway to the labyrinth's center is designed to complement the concept that walking a labyrinth allows you to meditate and release your tensions and worries on the way in. At the center, you can leave those frustrations there and can return on the same path back with a more relaxed attitude of hope and contentment.
