The large sandstock brick former hotel of one storey has hipped iron roofs and enclosed verandah ends, foundations and sills of sandstone, and flagged verandahs.The facade feature is the bow window.
The Turks Head was erected in 1868 as an hotel next to the first bridge across the Murray River at Albury, since then it has been a boarding house and a small store. The building has been empty since 2006
