[EN] “Covid-19 has marked a milestone in the history of humanity due to its global reach and its seriousness, being capable of paralyzing an entire planet and all its inhabitants for what will be remembered as an important historical event. But without a doubt, the coronavirus and the health emergency caused have put the health sector at the center of the fight, without detracting from others. This sculpture is presented, then, as a tribute to all those health workers who have had such an important job, and continue to do so today, in saving lives. All citizens feel enormous gratitude to a sector that has made and continues to make so many sacrifices, for which reason this sculpture is a well-deserved artistic display of gratitude and praise.

The stainless steel sculpture is 7.65 meters high and represents a red heart located on top of a white painted column made up of letters from different alphabets. It is the work of the artist Jaume Plensa.”
