The Orkney Wireless Museum is house in a small stone building near the harbor in Kirkwall. The museum is dedicated to displaying the history and evolution of wireless communication developed the a private collector Jim MacDonald. Donations in lieu of admission.
Days and Hours of Operation:
The museum is open daily from 10:30 am– 4:30 pm from April through September. Closed on Sunday.

A collection of military, maritime and and domestic wireless communication devices. Some interesting examples is a spy briefcase, a U boat radio, a crystal radio, and a collection of domestic radios made by Emerson, Philco, etc.
