This old roadside altar can be seen in Diu, a former Portuguese territory in India.

In the old Diu, not far from the massive fortress built by the Portuguese, there is a small but beautiful altar, standing on a crossroad. The former Portuguese territories, namely Goa, Damão and Diu, keep a substantional percentage of Catholic population. Thre is an inscription mentioning it was renovated in 1916.
