Large bronze marker erected by the T. Eaton Company to honour their employees who served during the First World War. The marker is now located in the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa.

The T. Eaton Company was one of Canada's largest department store chains. Headquartered in Toronto, at its height the company had stores from coast to coast to coast and employed around 70,000 people. The company was in operation from 1869 until 1999.
The marker was first displayed in the lobby of Eaton's flagship store located on Yonge Street in downtown Toronto. Copies were also located in Montreal, Winnipeg and Vancouver. It and, its sister World War Two marker, was donated to the Museum by the Eaton family.

fifteen men who, with many of their associates of
the T. Eaton Company, bravely faced peril and hardship
in the Great War and who finally laid down their lives
in the cause of liberty, justice and humanity
