The simply stated, yet powerful memorial is located in Gallery 4 of the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa.
It consists of a small piece of aircraft wreckage superimposed on a silhouette backdrop of the twin towers.

This is a fragment of one of two airliners hijacked by
Al-Qaeda terrorists and flown into the World Trade Center
in New York City on 11 September, 2001. Terrorists crashed
a third plane into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
Passengers aboard a fourth aircraft fought the hijackers,
who crashed the plane in a Pennsylvania field.
Al-Qaeda's leadership in Afghanistan financed the attacks,
which killed more than 3,000 people, including 24 Canadians.
