This smaller beautiful and genuine mosque is one of the many which can be found in Ahmedabad, an Indian city where population is divided between Islam and Hinduism.

Also known as also known as Rani Sipri ni Masjid or Masjid-e-nagina, dates from the 15th century and interestingly it's named after the Hindu wife of sultan Mahmud Begada. It was her, in fact, who comissioned the mosque in 1514. After her death, her body was buried in this mosque.

It's definitely a different mosque, without obvious minarets and using pleny of wood in its structure. It can be freely visited.
