This park is in the South End of Boston. The larger park complex spans from East Berkeley Street to Waltham Street, between Shawmut Avenue and Washington Street. It is accessible via the Washington Street Silver Line.
The park has a Little League field, two basketball courts, and, of course, a playground area. The playground is on sand, with a large sandbox. It has swings, a standard platform-y area, and, most interestingly, what appears to be a large green buoy doubling as a jungle gym.
Note that the park is often frequented by pet owners, especially dogs. They are supposed to stay out of the fenced-off playground area, but if you children are highly allergic, it might be a poor choice of playgrounds to visit.
