The Messerall Truss Bridge is located at Pymatuning State Park in Linesville, Pennsylvania. The bridge crosses Linesville Creek about 2 miles north of the famous Linesville Spillway along the paved Spillway Trail. The bridge was originally built in 1876 by the Wrought Iron Bridge Company of Canton, Ohio, and was placed at Messerall Road over Pine Creek in Oil Creek Township near Titusville, in eastern Crawford County. The bridge was closed in 1987 due to its deterioration. The bridge was dismantled in 2021 and taken to Lockhart Ironworks in Logan, Ohio to be restored. In September 2022, the bridge was taken to Pymatuning State Park in Linesville, in western Crawford County, to be used for the expanded Spillway Trail. With this new section of trail, the Spillway Trail is now approximately 3 miles long.
