The performances taking place here are paramount to any visitor coming to Udaipur. Everyday in the evening - sometimes twice - there is a performance taking about one hour. It's all about traditional dances with some acting performance. It's spectacular, with all the colors and sounds of old India.
The stage is outdoors, in a patio of the palace, which can be visited during the day as a museum.
The project started in 2000.
Tickets can be bought on the spot and it's advisable to buy in the preious day as often they sell out.
