This beautiful arch stands by one of the entrances to the grounds of Victoria Memorial, Kolkata, India

This arch, built between 1906 and 1921, is now fenced and so it's not supposed to be in practical use neither to be approached by the visitors. It's not clear if in the past people were supposed to pass under the arch to enter the grounds.

The esquestrian statue on the top is King Edward VII.
