Only a small section of the disk remains. It appears as it has been hit multiple times while mowing the grass. MA0518 Dubois Triangulation disk.

"Described by Coast Guard and Geodetic Survey 1938 (APR) MA0518 Station is on the first prominent hill N. of city about 3/4 mile N of main business district, on property owned by Dubois estate, mark is set in a 10 by 10 concrete block projecting about 2 inches above the ground is stamped 1938. Is 71.7 feet W. of NW corner of John Dubois Monument." I have omitted information pertaining to apple trees that are no longer relevant.

The latest recovery notes by Geocaching 2007 (RLM)
"Only a small sliver of the disk remains and a sizable part of the concrete post is also missing. Both reference marks were searched for and found in good condition. The Azimuth was found in poor condition." I found both reference marks in good condition but did not search for the Azimuth.
