The Sandy Beach Reserve is on the western side of Summerland Point, and has a free electric BBQ, uncovered seating, free parking, and toilet facilities. The Playground has dark 'rubber' softfall around the modular set of plastic components and metal poles sand fixtures. There is a slightly curved plastic Slippery Slide from a platform reached by an angled Climbing Board. A Spring Bouncer is nearby, as is a double Swing Set with one being rubber 'bucket-style' for infants.
