The 1970's saw many of the Methodist, Congregational and Presbyterian church opting to amalgamate into the Uniting Church of Australia; as many rural communities had three separate churches going into decline.

This is a wood framed and clad church built in a Gothic styling for the windows in 1905, from funds raised by Methodist and Presbyterians, and was used by both. [ex-Perspex covered sign] While in 1971 the Failford Methodist Memorial church (built in 1924) was moved to Nabiac and attached to rear of what become the Uniting Church, as the church hall.
