St. Olav Katolske Domkirke is the Cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oslo in Norway. The church was completed in 1856, but not consecrated until August 8, 1896. The church was elevated to the rank of a Cathedral in 1953 when the Diocese of Oslo was established. It is included in the Kulturminnesøk database (Kulturminne Id 166287).
The church is named for Saint Olav, an eleventh-century King of Norway. Inside the Cathedral is a relic of Saint Olav's arm, along with a number of beautiful paintings and stained glass windows. Pope Saint John Paull II visited the church in 1989. The cathedral offers Masses in a variety of languages, including Norwegian, Polish, Vietnamese, and English.
