My recommendations for how to reach the top of the butte where station MIDWEST and its reference marks are located can be found on the page for Waymark WM1814R. Reference mark 1 is cemented in the top of a sandstone boulder that is flush with the ground; it is about 65 feet just-north-of-west from the station mark.
