Woodlawn Cemetery is one of the largest cemeteries in New York City. It is located at the intersection of Webster Ave. and East 233rd Street in the Bronx It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on June 23, 2011.

The Admiral David Glasgow Farragut Gravesite is the final resting place for the first four-star admiral of the United States Navy. He is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lot 1429-44, Section 14, Aurora Hill Plot.
