An unchartered book exchange that is located in the Carty Unit of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. The entire body of the library is painted and depicts a tree with local fauna crawling on the sides of the library. These painted animals include: a squirrel, frog, deer, and bird.
The book exchange can be found slightly off the side of the main trail shortly after you step off the metal footbridge. This book exchange can only be accessed during the business hours of the refuge.
