Tag et hvil på Fortællebænken og lyt til en historie. Bænken er placeret ved den gamle bystævneplads. En QRcode ved bænken kan scannes og derved kan man høre forsekllige historier fra lokalområdet.
Motiver fra disse historier er udhugget i bænkens ryglæn. Det er historien om Marsk Stig som blev dømt for mord på kongen i år 1286 og fortællingen om nogle af kunstnerne, der har hørt til i Svanninge. Det store egetræ omkrandset af siddesten er den gamle bystævneplads.
De tre udskårne motiver er udfært af kunstneren Ole Fredriksen.


Take a rest on the Storytelling bench and listen to a story. The bench is located at the old town square. A QR code by the bench can be scanned and thereby you can hear various stories from the local area.
Motifs from these stories are carved into the back of the bench. It is the story of Marsk Stig, who was convicted of murdering the king in 1286, and the story of some of the artists who have belonged to Svanninge. The large oak tree surrounded by sitting stones is the old town meeting place.
The three carved motifs are made by the artist Ole Fredriksen.
