Located in DeSoto County, Florida just north of the town of Arcadia is the Brownville Park. This park besides being a day use park and campground has a boat ramp. The ramp provides access to the Peace River. Due to fluctuating water levels this ramp is best suited for small boats, canoes, kayaks and float tubes.
There is a day use fee of $2.00 per vehicle and additional fees if overnight camping is desired. The ramp is one lane and there is no dock for mooring to while launching vessels. Ramp is concrete but when water levels are low there is a considerable drop off at the river.
Park and ramp are open from sunrise to sunset.
