The South Park Area Radio Kontrol Society (S.P.A.R.K.S.) airfield is accessed via the gated Brekenridge Drive, South Park. The field is accessible when club members are present. The field has a locked gate and is accessible when club members are present. Paved runway, pavilion, windsock, rest facilities, and launching pads are available.
"SPARKS is a RC flying field in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Located in scenic South Park, the field offers a flying area for anyone who wants to fly RC aircraft. The site includes a grass field and asphalt runway. The site is suitable for trainers, sport flying, aerobatics, and giant scale aircraft. Site is open for spectators when gates are open. Site is usually closed from Thanksgiving to March due to the weather, but field is open all summer! Members are at the field all week so come down and have some fun!" S.P.A.R.K.S.
