[PL] Piata sluza na Kanale Augustowskim (od rzeki Biebrzy) znajduje sie w Augustowie w Polsce, blisko Drogi Krajowej nr 8, zbudowany w latach 1825-1826 przez inz. Konstantego Jodko. Zostala zniszczona w 1944 roku przez armie Trzeciej Rzeszy i odbudowany w obecnej formie przez "HYDROTREST" w latach 1947-1948. W ramach nowego projektu zastosowano metalowe bramy z kanalami przeplywu i mechanizmy bram otwierane za pomoca korb. Wynikiem tych ulepszen jest przedluzenie czasu przeplyniecia o okolo 7 minut.

[ENG]Located in Augustów, Poland, the fifth lock on the Augustów Canal was built in 1825-1826 by cf Eng. Konstanty Jodko, destroyed in 1944 by the Third Reich, and rebuilt by "HYDROTREST" in 1947-1948, now upgraded with metal gates and crank-driven gate mechanisms resulting in a 7-minute extension of time.
