In Diergaarde Blijdorp staat buiten het Oceanium een groepje van drie of vier Reuzenmammoetbomen. Ze zijn alle geplant rond 2000. Dientengevolge hebben ze nog maar een stamomtrek van minder dan 1 m en een hoogte van 15 m of minder. Bij de bomen staan enkele informatieborden over mammoetbomen en de brandvaste eigenschappen van deze boomsoort. Eén van de bomen heeft een monumentale status, maar ik weet niet welke.

In Diergaarde Blijdorp there is a group of three or four Giant Sequoia trees outside the Oceanium. They were all planted around 2000.
