The historic Santa Fe Depot in Chanute has been restored and now houses both the Chanute Public Library and the Martin and Osa Johnson Safari Musuem. This locomotive and a caboose are on display on the west side of the depot. According to this web page this is a Davenport 30 ton switch engine, built in 1937 as CN2246 and used by the Monarch Cement Company.
