Three bronze sculptures around the Logan Fountain at the south end of Riverside Park celebrate the works of William Inge, the "Playwright of the Midwest." A fourth sculpture portrays Inge. This sculpture, at the southeast quadrant of the fountain plaza, portrays Millie and Bomber from the play "Picnic." The two are arguing over the influence another man has had on Millie and her sister.
