This angel is different from most, as she is draped over, and part of the tombstone; with a single lily across the front barely held in her finger tips.
Fromm the rear she is on her tip-toes so she can rest her head and arms in grief over the stone.
This Weeping Angel is a variation of the 1894 statue by William Wetmore Story in the Protestant Cemetery in Rome.
"Angel of Grief or the Weeping Angel is an 1894 sculpture by William Wetmore Story for the grave of his wife Emelyn Story at the Protestant Cemetery in Rome. Its full title bestowed by the creator was The Angel of Grief Weeping Over the Dismantled Altar of Life." ~ Wikipedia
