Bazaar, Kansas, is now listed as a "ghost town" and is so small that the Wikipedia article doesn't even give a population. But this small town's name is spelled out in big letters on a hillside southeast of town.
One vantage point that doesn't require a detour is Bazaar Cemetery, on the west side of Highway 177. Those coordinates are given below. Or you can go into town and view the letters from a bit closer.
