Organized January 31, 1951, the former Emmaus Volunteer Fire Company No.3 served the eastern/northern portion until its' closing in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
Following a town referendum in 1978, Emmaus Fire Companies 2 (at the west edge of Emmaus) and 3, along with Emaus Fire Co. No. 1, consolidated their fire-fighting equipment into a central station built in 1980. The former companies became social clubs. In 1985, Emmaus Fire Co. No. 2 and No. 3 had their tax exemptions revoked by Lehigh County because they no longer provide community fire protection. At the time, income was generated by selling food and drink on the premises.
In 1999, The Lehigh Saengerbund opened its new home in the former Emmaus Fire Company No. 3 building. The Saengerbund is a German Choir Club and it operated here into the mid 2000's and then Kelly Auto Group bought the property.
There were two fire engine bays, at least one of which was a pumper truck.
