En actitud cariñosa y entrañable, con una sonrisa en la cara, la niña, con su caperuza puesta y la cesta en el brazo izquierdo, paseando al lado de un lobo que aparenta más ser un perro fiel que una bestia salvaje capaz de comerse a nadie.
Obra del escultor Enrique Babot en bronce.
Castelldefels, ha tenido dos de estas figuras inspiradas en el cuento infantil . Una primera representación de ésta y del lobo con quién se le asocia coronó, en la plaza España, lo que era una fuente pública situada en el mismo lugar de la actual estatua. En 1995 se recupera una imagen histórica en el centro de la ciudad. La pieza que se colocó como restitución de la primitiva desaparecida es un bronce.
